My meeting just ended, where is my report?
Reports are prepared once your meeting platform has finished processing the recording or transcript (Zoom usually takes 5 to 10 minutes), plus one to three minutes for the report itself. Uploads show their progress on the dashboard.
How do I connect Zoom to AfterWordsAI?
Open Settings, then Integrations, and click Connect next to Zoom. Approve the permissions on Zoom's page and you're done: cloud-recorded meetings are processed automatically.
Does AfterWordsAI work with Google Meet?
Yes. Connect Google in Settings, then Integrations, and turn on transcription in your Meet calls. Transcripts are picked up after the meeting and turned into your report, follow-ups and action items.
Does AfterWordsAI work with Microsoft Teams?
Yes. Connect Teams in Settings, then Integrations, with your work or school account and turn on transcription in meetings you organise. Your IT admin can approve access once for the whole company.
How do I disconnect my Zoom account?
Click Disconnect next to Zoom in Settings, then Integrations, or remove AfterWordsAI under Manage, then Added Apps, in the Zoom App Marketplace.
Can I export meeting reports as PDF or Word?
Template reports download as Word (.docx), in your template. The standard report can be printed or saved as PDF from the report view.
Does AfterWordsAI integrate with Jira?
Yes, in company workspaces: turn an action item into a Jira issue in one click from the team task board.
How long does it take to generate an AI meeting summary?
Usually one to three minutes once the recording or transcript is available. Long meetings and templates with many fields take a little longer.
Can I create custom report templates?
Yes. Upload the Word (.docx) document your team already uses in Settings, then Templates. Each report is written into it, and every fact is backed by a quote from the meeting.
Is AfterWordsAI better than Otter.ai or Fireflies?
Note-takers give you notes. AfterWordsAI gives you the finished work: the report in your own template, follow-ups written by the right person, and action items with owners, without a bot in the call.
Do you use my data to train AI?
No. Meeting content is never used to train AI models, ours or our providers'.
How is my meeting data stored and protected?
Transcripts are not kept; reports keep only the quotes that back each fact. Report content, action items and drafts are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and all traffic uses TLS. You can export your data or delete your account at any time.
